Balance Courage and Consideration Think Win-Win. Working for my benefits along with others can build effective relationships.
Win-Lose The act of focusing on beating others rather than doing your best. You can't win unless other people lose.
Lose-Win Always looking for sympathy and having a permanent victim mentality.
Lose-Lose Criticize and envy others. Often putting others down along with yourself. If you can't win, nobody wins.
Win-Win or No Deal We are going to win together. You are ready to walk away before someone loses- including yourself.
Make Deposits in Other People's Emotional Bank Account's The key to making new friendships is to deposit acts of kindness and helpfulness into their emotional bank account's
Find Out What a Deposit Is for the Other Person. Take others opinions into consideration and find out what is comfortable to them. You have to communicate with them or else you will never know their deposit.
Do Small Acts of Kindness Be kind and create connections. Put down your phone and make kind conversation with people. Start introducing yourself to meet new people and opportunities will open up.
Keep Promises Be sure to make good on your word before saying "I promise". If the promise is broken there will be no trust and it will make a long time to regain.
Keep Confidence Never tell information someone has told you with confidence that you wont tell. This could embarrass them or cause serious trouble.
Be Loyal to the Absent Do not gossip. Bad-mouthing or talking about someone to other people will only result in them thinking you are talking bad about them. Speak up and defend anyone who is getting talked about.
Set Clear Expectations Always be clear about the thing you need to get done and follow through with what's expected.
Apologize Admit if you're wrong. Don't make excuses or wait for the other person to apologize first. It will only result into a bigger withdrawal.
Forgive Forgive and forget. Forgive people's and forget because if not, it will only keep hurting you.
