Groups in the Community

QuestionAnswer
What is a Group? A group is a collection of people who interact with and influence one another, as well as sharing a common purpose or goal.
What is a Family Group? A family group is a group who spend a great deal of time together, engage in a wide range activities, and know each other well.
What is a Friendship Group? A friendship group is a group who spend a lot of time together however are more likely than family groups to disband after a short time.
What is a Sporting and Leisure Group? The primary purpose of these two groups is to provide fun in an interactive way for members to get fit and healthy or engage in activities for wellbeing.
What is a Study and Work Group? This is a group where an individual feels connected and engaged in academic or active work, and this leads to the wellbeing heightened.
What is a Religious Group? This is a group formed around common beliefs, traditions and values held by a specific doctrine or faith.
What is a Cultural Group? Cultural groups are based on the geographic area in which a group originated or developed. They tend to share social and cultural characteristics.
What are Other Specific Groups within the Community? In order for an individuals wellbeing to be addressed and satisfied, the need to create specific groups has become imperative.
