Mega Stages

TermDefinition
Stage 1: Sensori-motor (birth-2 years) Differentiates self from others Achieves object permanence (things exist when they are no longer seen)
Stage 2: Pre-operational (2-7 Years) Classifies objects by a single feature (ex:groups together all red blocks regardless of shape and size or vice versa)
Stage 3: Concrete Operational (7-11 Years) Can think logically about objects and events Categorizes objects by classification (ex: puts in order by size, etc.)
Stage 4: Formal Operational (11 Years and up) Has ability to envision something without it in front of them Becomes concerned with the hypothetical, the future, and ideological problems
Oral Stage (1st Year) stimulated by sucking, eating, crying, babbling. Problems: Smoking/alcoholism, Chewing gum, Obesity from over eating, etc.
Anal Stage (1-3 Years) Toilet training Problems: Messiness, cruelty, emotionally distant
Phalic Stage (3-6 Years) Realize what sex they are Problems: Attraction to parent of opposite sex, hostility to parent of same sex, too little/too much sex, weak and confused sexual identity
Latency Stage (6 Years to puberty) Learning modesty and shame consciously Problems: Excessive modesty, preference for company of same sex, homosexuality
Genital Stage (Puberty) Desire to mature sexual relationships Problems: displaying energy into healthy activities and establish new relationship with parents
Pre - Conventional Stage 1: Obedience vs. Punishment Stage 2:Individualism and Exchange
Conventional Stage 3: Good Boy and Good Girl Stage 4: Law and Order
Post - Conventional Stage 5: Social Contract Stage 6: Universal Ethical Principle
Stage 1 (0-2 Years:1 is a bun Trust Vs. Mistrust
Stage 2 (2-4 Years): 2 is a shoe Auto is in a shoe, shane is in the auto Autonomy vs. Shame
Stage 3 (4-6 Years): 3 is a tree Shia is in the tree with a quilt Initiative Vs. Guilt
Stage 4 (6-12 Years): 4 is a dinosaur Dusty Dinosaur feels inferior Industry vs. Inferiority
Stage 5 (12-19 Years): 5 is skydive Sky diver falls and lands on a car and dents it, then roles off in a state of confusion Identity vs. Role Confusion
Stage 6 (18-35 Years): 6 is sticks 2 sticks are intimate and the 3rd stick feels isolated Intimacy vs. Isolation
Stage 7 (35-55 Years): 7 is heaven Generator dies and goes to heaven and stag had to crank it Generativity vs. Stagnation
