| Cellular respiration | A type of gas exchange where organisms turn sugar and oxygen into energy, |
| Reactant | What goes into a chemical reaction. All reactants must be there for the reaction to happen. |
| Product | What is made during a chemical reaction-- what is produced. |
| Water | H2O |
| Carbon Dioxide | CO2 |
| Glucose sugar | C6H12O6 |
| Oxygen | O2 |
| Energy (ATP) | The type of energy used by living things. Produced by cellular respiration. |
| Autotroph | Organisms who get their sugar from photosynthesis |
