Job Analysis | an evaluation of the positive and negative attributes of a given type of work. |
Salary | The amount of monthly or annual pay that you will earn for your labor. |
Benefits | 1. Forms of employee compensation addition to pay. 2. The amount received by the beneficiary from a life insurance policy, also called proceeds. |
Opportunity for Promotion | Gain experience from doing something and met all goals. |
Employees Expenses | Any costs of working paid by the employee that are not reimbursed by the employee. |
Work Characteristic | The daily activities of the job and the environment in which they must be preformed. |
Entrepreneur | Someone who organizes, manages, and assumes the ownership risks of a new business. |
Placement Centers | A service offered at schools to help students and former students with careers and employment. |
Networks | Informal groups of people with common interests who interact for mutual assistance. |
Aptitude | A natural, physical or mental ability that allows you to do certain tasks well. |

Retraining | Learning new and different skills so that an employee can retain the same level of employ ability. |
Advanced Degree | Specialized, intensive programs (taken after obtaining the first college degree) that prepare students for higher level work responsibilities with more challenges and higher pay. |
Self Assessment Inventory | lists your string and weak points along with plans for improvement as you prepare for a career. |
