Term | Definition |
Hypothesis | A statement of what you think will happen during an investigation. |
Observation | Somthing that you find out about objects, events, or living things by using your senses. |
Experiment | The use of scientific methods to test your hypothesis. |
Varible | Something that can change in a test. |
Control Group | The group that doesn't get the special treatment. |
Procedures | Step-by-step instructions for completing a task. |
Models | An object that represent other things. |
Surveys | Questionares that are given to a number of people whos answeres are recorded. |
Sampling | A way to collect data by examining random individuals. |
Independant Varible | A varible that you can change. |
Dependant Varible | It is what is measured. It changes when the independant varible changes. |
Experimental Group | The group that gets the special treatment. |
