| professionalism | sense of commitment, enthusiasm, and responsibility associated with a career, how we communicate, behave, and dress. |
| personal values | beliefs and attitudes about what is important |
| confidentiality | maintaining the privacy of others (students, families, colleagues, etc.) |
| communication | How we give and receive information through talking, in writing or electronically or through body language and appearance. |
| written message | to hand write, email or text a message to a parent, child, colleagues, or the community |
| newsletter | letter to parent, students, colleagues, or community using print or electronic methods |
| honesty | a quality exemplified by moral strength; choosing to do what is "right" at all situations, regardless of if anyone will know |
| Teacher Ethics | Ethical standards for teachers given by the State of Georgia, NAEYC or other professional organization |
| prejudice | forming opinions without actual knowledge |
| diversity | being accepting of many cultures, religions, etc of different kinds |

| gossip | discussing information that is hurtful to anyone, or is unverified as truth |
| legal compliance | following all laws |
| conduct with students | always maintaining a professional relationship with students |
| alcohol and drugs | never using any substance when you will be on campus or at work |
| testing integrity | protecting all testing information, never helping a student on a test |
