Solute | The substance being disolved. Ex. Salt |
Solvent | The substance doing the disolving. Ex. Water |
Solubility | The amount of solute that can be disolved in a givin amount. |
Saturated Solution | A solution in which the max amount of solute has been dosolved at a certain temp. |
Insoluble | A term used to describe a substance that does not disolve in water. |
Polar Molocule | A molocule that has two partically changed ends. |
Electrolyte | An aquines solution that conducts an electrical current. |
Dissolve | The state in which solute particals are evenly distrubted through a solvent. |
Homo Mixture | A mixture that is the same throughout |
Hetero Mixture | A mixture that is differnet throughout |
Colliod | Moxtures made up of clusters of atoms or molocules |
