Proton | The positively charged particles found in the nucleus.

Electron Cloud | The region around the nucleus of the atom made up of mostly empty space and electrons.

Products | In a chemical equation, these represent what is produced during the reaction.

Electron | These are gained, lost, or shared when chemically combining with another atom.

Ion | Atype of atom created when electrons are lost or gained. Makes the atom charged.

Neutral | The overall charge of an atom of the periodic table.

Neutrons | These subatomic particles are found by subtracting the atomic number from the atomic mass.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
