peau d'Orange   thickening or edema of the breast tissue or nipple; may present as enlarge skin pores that give the appearance of an orange rind

milk line   ectodermal galactic band that develops from the axillae to the groin during the fifth week of fetal development

tail of spence   upper outer quadrant of the breast that extends into the axilla

retromammary adipose tissue   tissue that constitutes the bulk of the breast

gynecomastia   enlargement of male breast tissue; may occur normally in adolescent and elderly males

supernumerary nipples   extra nipples or breast tissue along the milk line that results from incomplete atrophy of the ectodermal galactic band  
🗑
alveoli (of the breast)   milk-producing glands located in the lobules; also called acini  
🗑
lymphatic drainage   yellow alkaline drainage originating in the lymph vessels that is composed primarily of lymphocytes

lobes (of the breast)   glandular breast tissue arranged radially in the form of 12 to 20 spokes
