Dependent Variable (Responding Variable)   The variable to the experiment that responds to the change.
🗑
Hypothesis   A logical prediction about your "testable" question. (an educated guess)
🗑
Experiment   Conducting a test! List your materials, the procedure, your independent variable (only ONE!), and observations.
🗑
Conclusion   This section answers your original testable question. State whether your hypothesis was correct or incorrect.
🗑
Observation   Use your senses.
🗑
Scientific Method   Observation, Hypothesis, Experiment, Data Collection, Conclusion, and Retest (if needed)
🗑
Problem   It is what you start with. Usually asked as a question. It is why you are doing the experiment.
🗑
Research   Looking up information or reading about your topic to try to find out more information. Usually before you make a hypothesis.
🗑
Graph   A visual representation of your data. It helps you understand all those numbers.
🗑
Data   It is all the measurements taken from doing the experiment.
🗑
Materials   a list of all of the equipment and supplies used to do the experiment.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
