| What is sexual reproduction? | Where genetic information from two organisms is combined to produce genetically different offspring.

| What are gametes? | Sex cells (egg and sperm cells).

| How do chromosomes explain variation in a species? | The mixture of half of the chromosomes from the mother and the other half from the father creates genetically unique offspring with some characteristics from each parent, causing variation.

| What is asexual reproduction? | Where a parent cell is split down the middle to form two identical sets of half chromosomes that a membrane forms around, allowing the remaining DNA to replicate itself to produce the rest of the needed X chromosomes.

| What are some uses of asexual reproduction? | It's how animals and plants grow and replace cells.

| Give an example of an organism that use asexual reproduction to produce offspring. | Bacteria.
