NOTES ON ADMINISTRATION   Pregnancy Category C. Ems use primarily to facilitate intubation. If conscious explain effects of drug. Consider premedication with atropine. Premedication with lidocaine may blunt any increase in intracranial pressure during intubation.

INCOMPATABILITIES/DRUG INTERACTIONS   Effects potentiated by oxytocin, beta blockers, and organophosphates. Diazepam may reduce the duration of action.
