---|---|---|---|---|---|
ATP (Adenosine Triphospate) | stores energy and is like the cells money, everything the cell does cost ATP
🗑
Glucose | scientific name for simple sugar, The cell can turn glucose into ATP, so it's like the cells fuel
🗑
Mitochondrion | are like the cells power plants - 1 single mitochondrion can turn 1 glucose into 38 ATP. Mitochondrion can not be repaired only recycled
🗑
Nucleus | is an organelle that is the central command structure of the cell and stores the cells DNA
🗑
Amino Acids | are molecules that make protein, they are like the cells brinks
🗑
Nucleic Acids | make RNA, RNA is the blueprint for protein
🗑
Ribosomes | are like factories - the nucleus gives them orders and they make things.
🗑
Slicer Enzymes | kill viral RNA
🗑
Viruses | attack the cell - they invade and reproduce themselves (They have a protein coat and viral RNA)
🗑
Fatty Acids | are molecules udes to make membrane, the stretchy outside of the cell.
🗑
Endoplasmic Reticulum (E.R.) | an organelle where the membrane is produced, and it makes the cell grown bigger.
🗑
Free Radicals | dangerous molecules that damage the nucleus' DNA and organelles like the mitochondria. They are like poisonous garbage, mitochondria produce them along with ATP
🗑
Vesicles | is a membrane bubble with protein inside. It's like a water balloon filled with chemicals. (vesicles also carry organelles)
🗑
Lysosome | A vesicle filled with acid, it can recycle and digests large organelles.
🗑
Peroxisome | A vesicle that absorbs free radicals.
🗑
Golgi Body | is an organelle which sorts and processes vesicles
🗑
Chloroplasts | only found in plant cells, uses sunlight to make glucose

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
To hide a column, click on the column name.
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.
Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
