motor skills - PRACTICE METHODS | to learn and improve skills, practice is required

motor skill - DISCRETE | there are clearly defined beginning and end points. Usually brief action e.g. tennis serve

motor skill - CONTINUOUS | the movement has arbitrary beginning and end points. repetitive fashion e.g. swimming

motor skill- SERIAL | when a discrete skill is put in a series or sequence e.g. shooting an arrow in archery
