Cell Membrane   To keep the cell and it's environment separate. To allow things in and out of the cell. It is the cells boundary.
🗑
Cytoplasm   Gel-like liquid. To hold or support the structures and/or to move structures material through the cell by streaming.
🗑
Nucleus   Direct all the activities of the cell. It IS NOT the nucleus of an atom.
🗑
Mitochondrion   Breaks down cell food to release energy to use in cell. Like a power house.
🗑
Endoplasmic Reticulum (er)   A path to help move things from the nucleus to the edges of the cell. Like a highway.
🗑
Ribosome   Makes proteins. It is found on the ER.
🗑
Golgi Bodies   Packages proteins and other things cells make. Begins the process of moving things out of the cell.
🗑
Vacuole   It stores things in the cell. Like sacs. They are made up of Golgi Bodies.
🗑
Lysosome   It digests waste and worn out cell parts. The bits are used to make new things in a cell. Lysosomes are recyclers.
🗑
Cell Wall   The outside of the cell membrane. It protects and supports the cell. ONLY FOUND IN PLANTS.
🗑
Chloroplast   Changes light energy into chemical energy, in the form of sugar or starch. They always have a color and most of them are green. ONLY FOUND IN PLANTS.
🗑
Cytoskeleton   The Cytoplasm contains the Cytoskeleton, solid and hollow tubes that helps cells keep their shape, change their shape, or, in some cases move.
