Swift Scientific Method

QuestionAnswer
hypothesis an educated guess
inference a guess or conclusion based on your observations. You make this after observing and use it to make a hypothesis
variable a factor that can change in an experiment
independent variable the variable that is changed on purpose in an experiment
dependent variable the variable that changes because of the independent variable. what we measure
testable a question you can try to answer. a hypothesis is testable in you can design an experiment that will prove or disprove it
experimental group the group that gets the change applied to it
scientific method a logical process that is used to find answers
data information you collect during an experiment
conclusion an explanation of the results
