Scientific Method

QuestionAnswer
a way to ask and answer scientific questions by making observations and doing experiments scientific method
an educated guess about how things work hypothesis
when you change only one factor (variable) and keep all other conditions the same fair test
any factor, trait, or condition that can exist in differing amounts or types variable
the variable that is changed by the scientist independent variable
the new value of this variable is caused by and depends on the value of the independent variable dependent variable
