Scientific Methods

QuestionAnswer
What is scientific method? ways that a scientist answer questions and solve problems
What is observation? when you use your senses to gather information
What is hypothesis? an educated guess
What is a controlled experiment? an experiment that tests only one thing at a time
What is a variable? the only thing that is changed in a controlled experiment
What is data? pieces of information gathered through experiments
What is a conclusion? using your results to prove if your hypothesis is true or false
