Scientific method

QuestionAnswer
Hypothesis "I think" statement of an educated guess
Conclusion End result, right or wrong.
Analysis Examine data and summarize it.
Control What is held constant in the experiment.
Independent Variable Variable that is only changed by person doing the experiment.
Dependent Variable Variable that changes depending on the independent variable.
Observation Any information collected with the scenes.
Inference Conclutions or deductions based on observations
Quantitative Measureable or countable (numbers)
Qualitative Describable, not measurable (shape,size,color etc.)
