Whats Science?

QuestionAnswer
What does observing mean? means using one or more of their senses.
What is an indiredect observation? can't see the observation
What are the seven tools, processes, and methods the scientists use? -Observing -Measuring -Inferring -Prediction -Classifying -Making models -Communicating
What is a direct observation being able to see the observation
Name the three fields of science: Physical, Life, Earth
Can all questions be answered by science? No
What is measuring using length, area, volume, temperature, mass, etc. to describe objects or situations
What is the difference between inferring and predicting? Predicting is making a forecast about the future while inferring is not a guess but explaining things based on what they already know.
What is classifying? grouping together items that are alike
Creating representations of objects or processes is what? Making model or representing data
What is communicating? Sharing what you know with others!
