Distinguish between a hypothesis and a theory A hypothesis is a statement that must be tested whereas a theory is an explaintion that has been tested and accepted to be possible.
Hypothesis A hypothesis is a statement that attempts to explain a phenomenon or answer a scientific question.
Theory A theory is a widely accepted, well-tested explaination of one or more cause-and-effect relationships that has been extensivly validated by a great amount of research.
Describe an experiment, which incorporates all of the steps of the scientific method
Describe several current environmental problems 1)Our combustion of fossil fuels and deforestation have increased carbon dioxide concentrations cause temperatures to rise. 2)Agricultural use of chemical fertilizers and pesticide poisons organisms and alters natural systems.
