Cell Division the formation of two cells from one existing cell
Organ System groups of specialized parts that carry out a certain function in an organism
Atoms the smallest unite of an element that maintains the chemical properties of that element
Homeostasis the maintnance of a constant internal state in a changing enviroment; a constant internal state that is maintained in a changing enviroment by continually making adjustments to the internal and external enviroment
Cell in biology, the smallest unite that can perform all life processes; they are covered by a membrane and contain DNA and cytoplasm
