Dyslexia Developmental reading disorder
Play Therapy Therapy using dolls, puppets, and/or drawing pictures.
Autism a pervasive developmental disorder of children, characterized by impaired communication, excessive rigidity, and emotional detachment
Pervasive Developmental disorder Any of a group of disorders of infancy, childhood, or adolescence that are characterized by distortions in the development of the basic psychological functions such as language, social skills, attention, perception, reality testing, and movement.
Childhood Schizophrenia a severe mental disorder characterized by some, but not necessarily all, of the following features: emotional blunting, intellectual deterioration, social isolation, disorganized speech and behavior, delusions, and hallucinations.
Down Syndrome Genetic disorder caused by extra chromosome.
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome a variable cluster of birth defects that may include facial abnormalities, growth deficiency, mental retardation, and other impairments, caused by the mother's consumption of alcohol during pregnancy.
