| LANDFORM REGION | A large area of land where the topography is similar. ex.) the badlands in Dakota |
| MOUNTAIN | A landform with high elevation and high relief. |
| MOUNTAIN RANGE | A group of mountains that are closely related in shape, structure, or age. |
| Plateau | A landform that has high elevation and a more or less level surface. |
| LITHOSPHERE | Earth's solid, rocky outer layer. |
| HYDROSPHERE | Earth's oceans, lakes, rivers, and ice. |
| ATMOSPHERE | The mixture of gases that surround the planet |
