Scientific theories Concepts that join together well-supported and related hypotheses
Principle/law a term considred appropriate for theories that are generally accepted by an overwhelming number of scientists
Independent variable varied factor, what is changed, what is being tested
Dependent Variable variable that is measured, result or change that occurs
Technology the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes
