What is simile? to compare two things using like or as
What is a metaphor? to compare two things without using like or as
What is personification? giving human characteristics to non human things
Onamatopoeia the use of words that sound like they refer to
Ballad a poem that tells a story that is supposed to be sung or recited.
Free Verse poetry written in either rhm or unrhymed lines that have no set fixed metrical pattern
Limerick a comic poem written in five lines.
