Topography Is the shape of the land
Latitude Distance in degrees North or South of the equater

Elevation The hieght above sea level
Relief The difference between the highest and the lowest points of an area
Landform Is a feature of topography formed by the process that shapes Earth's surface
Contour Line Connects points of equal elevation on a topographic map
Contour Interval The change in elevation from countour line to contour line
What Do Maps Show? Maps show the elevation, physical features, and surrounding areas
