Energy Pyramid Diagram that shows energy transfers as you go up each level. As you go up the pyramid, the amount of energy and the number of organisms decreases. At each level, energy is lost as heat.
Global Warming The increase in the average yearly temperature
Acid Rain Rain with a pH of 4-5 is falling to earth as a result of sulfur from factories being released into the atmosphere.
Deforestation Cutting down of trees (and not replanting them) for human building needs
Ecological Succession Change in plants/animals in an area over time
Photosynthesis Occurs in leaves (in the choloplasts). Carbon Dioxide + water + light -> oxygen + glucose
