What are the three state of matters? Solid, Liquid, Gas
Solid do not flow. What do we think that the reason is? particles in the solid are connected to each other and only vibrates.
which measurement do we use for measuring the volume of an object? cubic centimeters
why do u think that liquid does flow? because, its particles are a little apart from each other. but still stuck together.
Why do they transport liquids in sealed containers? or else, they will flow.
Why do they keep gases in completely sealed containers? gases flow very easily, so they can escape quickly.
What do you call when the idea that has been tested works? Theory
What are some observation of an ice? it keeps its shape It cannot be squashed it turns into liquid water when it is warmed up
what is a brief explanation of diffusion? It's when tea or sugar or any other things are added, it gets spread out and it moves to less concentrated area.
What can flow easily? put in the order of most->least gas, liquid solid
How can we move solid? you can push or pull
Does gas have a fixed volume? no
What is a solid? solid are particles very close together. The particles can vibrate but stay in their places. so that is why solid keeps their place
What is a liquid? liquid is one of the state of matter that are close to one another but can move past each other.That's why liquids flow.
What is gas? It is a particle that are far apart from each other and can move anywhere by themselves. That's why gases spread all over the place and fill any container they are in.
What are the three properties of solid? it cannot get pushed cannot be squashed can not flow
What are the properties of liquid? it can change it's shape cannot be squashed can flow
What are the properties of gas? it can change it's shape can be squashed it can flow.
