Newton His laws of gravity explained that all objects in the universe attract each other through gravity- this is why the planets stay in orbit
Brahe Earth-centered universe with sun and moon revolving around it; all other planets revolve around the sun
Radio Waves used to transmit radio and television signals
Microwaves used in communication; radar, and to warm food
Infrared Waves means "below red" used to all things give off some amount of infrared waves
Visible Light the only part of the spectrum you can actually see; ROYGBIV
Ultraviolet Light Good Effect= kills bacteria; Bad Effect= can cause cancer
X-Rays useful in the medical field and to scan baggage at the airport
Gamma Rays used to treat some forms of cancer
