Which neurotransmitter is released by both the pre- and post-ganglionic neurons? Acetylcholine (ACh)
Norepinephrine is released during sympathetic activity at which neuron? The post-ganglionic neuron
The adrenal glands are made up of two parts... the adrenal cortex and the adrenal medulla
Cortisol is produced in which part of the adrenal glands? The adrenal cortex
The adrenal medulla produces... epinephrine and norepinephrine
When eating, why is it so important to be in parasympathetic mode? Relaxation helps the body to digest most efficiently and maximizes the absorption of nutrients.
