| Hepititis | Inflamation of the liver |
| Sterilization | Complete distructioion of all microorganisms and their spores. |
| Cross Infection | The passing of disease producing microorganisms from person to person. |
| Asepsis | Condition of being free from infectious microorganisms, not producing microorganisms. |
| Allergy | Unusul reaction to a drug or agent, normally not irritating. |
| Autoclave | an apparatus that uses steam under pressure to effect sterilization. |
| Culture | Growth of microorganisms on artificial mediums for examination. |
| Flora | Plants or plant life in any area or region. |
| Incubator | Small chamber with controlled temperature for cultivation of microorganism. |
| Metastasis | Transfer of disease, usually cancer, from original site to unrelated parts. |
| Sterile | Free from all known microorganisms and their spores. |
| Spirilla | Spiral shaped bacteria that is pathogenic. |
| Spore | Microorganisms with this cell wall enabling the cell to survive adverse conditions. |
