1. A giant discharge of electricity accompanied by a brilliant flash of light and a loud crack of thunder is.. .. Lightning.
2. Lightning forms from the buildup of.. .. electrons or negative charges.
3. What would you do if you were caught out in the open during a lightning?! I would touch as little surface of the ground as possible.
4. What can lightning cause to people?! People struck by lightning can suffer from nerve damage, memory loss, personality change, and emotional problems.
5. What can a loud-to-ground lightning do? It could kill and injure people.It can branch off a person from a tree, fence, pole, or other tall object.

7. Thunder & Lightning happen at the same time. But why you see the Lightning first? Because light travel faster than sound.
8. When can Lightning happen?! Or during what?! Volcanic eruptions, extremely intense forest fires, surface nuclear detonations, heavy snowstorms, and in large hurricanes.
9. What could reach reach over five miles in length, raise the temperature of the air by as much as 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit , and contain a hundred million electrical volts?! The lightning spark.
10. Some scientists think that lightning may have played a part in the evolution of.. .. living organisms.
11. Lightning is 6 times hotter than Earth’s.. .. surface.
12. Can Lightning kill people?! Yes!
