What is sea floor spreading The process of which new oceanic lithosphere forms as magma reaches the sea floor and solidifies.
What is plate tectonics How large pieces of the earths most outer layer called tectonic plates move and change shape
What is a convergent boundary The boundary formed by the collision of two lithospheric pressure
What is divergent boundary The boundary between two tectonic plates that are moving away from each other
What is transform boundary The boundary between tectonic plates that are sliding past each other horizontally
