Why are plants called decomposers? they are the only organism which can make their own food.
Animals which eat plants are called? herbivores

Animals that eat both plants and animals are called? Omnivores
Decomposers are things that?(they release nutrients back to the soil) eat waste material and dead plants or animals.
A food chain consists of? One kind eating another which is in turn eaten by a third kind
What are the 4 steps in the nutrient cycle? ingestion, decomposers, nutrients returned to the soil, and nutrients taken up by the roots
True or False? The nutrient cycle goes by an animal eating it then the nutrients go into the roots then they are returned to the soil and then decomposers eat them. False
