Fixator Muscle that prevents movement of bone
Synergist Muscle that aids the prime mover
Endomysium Sleeve of connective tissue around muscle fibers (muscle cells)
Perimysium Thicker layer of connective tissue around muscle fascicles (bundles of muscle fibers)
Epimysium Fibrous sheath surrounding the entire muscle
Fascia Sheet of connective tissue that separates muscles from other muscles or subcutaneous tissue
