Mr. Biando's - Six Kingdoms
| Term | Definition |

| Archaebacteria | A kingdom made up of bacteria that live in extreme environments. |
| Eubacteria | A kingdom that contains all prokaryotes except archaebacteria. |
| Bacteria | Extremely small single-celled organisms. |
| Prokaryotes | Organisms that lack nuclei. |
| Protista | Includes single celled and or simple multicellular organisms that don't fit into any other kingdom. |
| Eukaryotes | Organisms whose cells contain nucleus and membrane-bound organelles. |
| Protazoans | Animal-like protists. |
| Algae | Plant-like protists. |
| Euglena | A member of the protista kingdom which is both plant-like and animal-like. |
| Fungi | Organisms that are multicellular and absorb nutrients from dead organisms. |
| Plantae | The kingdom which contains organisms that make their own food through photosythesis and are eukaryotic with cell walls. |
| Animalia | The kingdom that contains complex multicellular organisms that don't have cell walls, usually can move around, consume other organisms, and use sense organs to respond to their environments. |
