sea breeze when a body of water & neighboring land produce a warm breeze that blows onshore in the daytime that is caused by the temp. differences between a body of water & neighboring land
Polar Easterlies A ribbon of air located in the polar region that blows from the NE to the W, moving cold
Westerlies They are winds in the temperate region blowing from the W to E.
Trade Winds In the tropical region the winds blowing from the NE & to the SW in the Northern Hemisphere
Jet Streams A fast moving ribbon of air wrapped around the earth blowing from the W to E in the Northern Hemisphere
Coriolis Effect B/c the earth is spinning & convection cells are in the atmosphere on its axis all fluids veer right
