What is a protostar? -A clump of gas that will become a new star
The collapse of a molecular cloud occurs due to what? -Region of the molecular cloud eventually grows dense enough to trap almost all emitted radiation inside of it. Then it the temp dramatically increased.
Nuclear Fusion: is combining nuclei of smaller elements to make nuclei of larger elements
What led scientists to conclude that our Sun is a second-generation star? Generation star, which means its material, came from the explosion of a previously existing star.
List the five characteristics used to classify stars: -Color (blue & red) -Temp -Out put of the star -Distance from earth -Age
