Meseta Es relieve plano o llano situado a gran altura. En chile toma el nombre de altiplano
Llanura Son relieves planos que se encuentra a pequeña altura
Valles Son tierras planas rodeadas de montañas y generalmente atravesas por algunos rios
Vahia Son entradas de mar en la tierra con resguardo y fondo apropiado para las embarcaciones
Fiordo Es un brazo de mar largo y estrecho que entra en una costa ocupada por hielos de origen glaciar
Peninsula Es una porcion de tierra que entra al mar al continente por un extremo
Ismo Es una porción de tierra que une al continente con una peninsula
Archipiélago Son grupos de islas mas o menos proximas o relacionadas entre sí
Duna Colina de arena formada en las playas y en los desiertos
Delta Deposito compuesto de aluviones acumulados en la desembocadura de los grandes rios, en los lagos o en los mares sin marea fuerte ni grandes corrientes
Dorsales Nombre que reciben las cordilleras submarinas ej: Isla de Pascua
Platafroma continental Corresponde a una pendiente suave que se desliza desde la costa hacia el mar
Zócalo o talual continental Ubicada entre los 200 a los 300 metros bajo el nivel del mar en una zone donde se produce una pendiente muy inclinada
