What is the cell structure? The cells structure is what holds the cell together and puts it together like a tree.
What is the cell function? Functions let your cells stay alive and reproduce, get oxygen, get rid of waste, eat, grow, and they give you energy.
What is a compound microscope? A light microscope that has more then one lens is called a compound microscope.
What is Resolution? The ability to clearly distinguish the individual parts of an object
What is the electronic microscope? Ernst Ruska made the electron microscope TEMs send electrons though a very thinly sliced specimen it can magnify up to 500,000 times
What is the nucleus? directs all cell activity
What is the cell wall? it helps protect the cell and support it
What is the the cell membrane? it protects the cell from the out side
What is the Mitochondria? They are the powerhouse of the cell they convert energy in food molecules to energy the cell can use to function.
What are ribosomes They produce proteins
What is the Endoplasmic Reticulum? carries proteins and materials evenly to the right place in the cell.
What are Golgi Bodies? They revive protean and materials and ship them to other parts of the body.
what are Chloroplasts capture energy from the sunlight and use it to produce food for the cell
what is the Chromatin Strands that contain genetic material that instructs the cell how to grow
what is the Nuclear envelope membrane that protects the nucleus
what are Lysosomes “Cleanup crew” round structures containing chemicals that break down materials
what are Vacoules a large water filled sac, stores food and other materials
