What is a Community? Different spieces in one area all together
What is a Population? When one spieces is together in a group.
What is Spieces? A group of similar organisms that can reproduce with each other. Ex: Deer
What is Ecosystem? One or more communities in an area AND the Abiotic factors including Water, Sunlight, Oxygen, Temperature, and Soil.
What is Biomes? Individual ecosystems grouped together according to climate and vegetation (plants) charaterized by adaptations of organisms to that particular enviorment.
What is Ecology? THe study of the interactions among organisms and their enviroment.
What is Abiotic? The non-living parts if the enviroment.
What is Biotic? Living or once-living organisms in the enviroment.
WHat is the Biosphere? The part of Earth that supports life.
WHat is a Producer? Organisms that make their food from the sun-plants.
What is a Consumer? Organisms that eat plants or other animals.
What is a Decomposer? Organisms that break down or decay dead organisms.
WHat is a Food Chain? Uses pictures of words and arrows to show the movement of energy through the Trophic Levels of organisms.
What is a Food Web? Describes the organisms found in interconnecting food chains using pictures or word and arrows.
What is the Energy Pyramid? Shows the amount of energy that moves from one Trophic Level to another in a food chain.
