| Problem? | The first step in the scientific method. This step states a question or gives a reason for preforming a scientific investagation. |
| Research? | The second step in the scientific method. This step is used to collect any and all info possible about the problem you are trying to solve. |
| Hypothesis? | This is the third step in the scientific method. It is an educated guess, based on your research, about the outcome of your experiment. |
| Experiment? | This is the 4th step in the scientific method. This step is where you test your hypothesis. You must keep a list of all of the materials you use and all of the steps that you follow in your experiment. |
| Obsevation? | This is the 5th step of the scientific method. This step involves recording and measuring everything that your senses gather. |

| Variable? | One thing that changes in an experiment. |
| Control? | Anyting that does not change during the experiment. |
| Theroy? | This is a set of statements or ideas that explain a group of facts. |
