Immune System * Attacks organisms and substances that invade our bodies and cause disease * made up of white blood cells
Blood Vessel * Carries blood through the body * Are the vast circulatory system that delivers read and white blood cells throughout the body
Blood Vessel Network arteries veins capilaries
Monocytes * large white blood cells * migrate into connective tisse and become macrophages and move to kill invading enemies
Macrophage * type of white blood cell that eats bacteria as part of the immune response to infection
Bacteria major group of living organisms that lack nucleus and have a simple structure
neutrophil * type of white blood cell that destroys invading bacteria * attack quickly and in large numbers
lymphocytes * main type of immune cells * divided into T & B cells
