Digestive, Respiratory, Circulatory and Excretory Systems

| Villi | finger-like projections in the small intestine that increase the ability to absorb digested nutrients |
| Alveoli | air sacs in the lungs that exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide |
| Enzymes | speed up the breaking down and putting together of chemicals such as food, proteins, carbohydrates. |
| Diffusion | the movement of chemicals from high concentration to low concentration |
