bladder The place where urine is stored.
1 to 4 Menstrual discharge occurs during days
14 to 15 Ovulation occurs during days
16 to 22 Egg moves through fallopian tubes during days
23 to 28 Unfertilized egg enters uterus
5 to 13 Egg develops during these days
Adolescence The stages of development during which children become adults physically and mentally.
Amniotic Sac The sac in which the fetus develops during pregnancy. This membrane is filled with fluid.
Cervix The opening from the uterus to the vagina.
Egg The female sex cell.
Embryo The embryo is what the zygote is slightly more developed.
Fallopian tubes The tubes (plural!) in which the eggs travel down during ovulation.
Fetus The fertilized egg, which is now similar to an actual baby.
Implantation When the egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus.
Menstrual Cycle (mentruation) The cycle in which the egg leaves the ovaries, goes down the fallopian tubes, and is 'flushed' out with the lining of the uterus when the egg is not fertilized.
Ovaries The place in which the eggs (ovum) are stored and produced. There are two of them.
Ovulation The period of time which the egg is in th fallopian tubes and travelling towards to uterus.
Penis The organ in wich semen leaves the body through
Placenta The link between the embryo and the mother in which the embryo's blood vessels are carried next to the mothers. This helps protect the fetus, but not 100%. This link is how the embryo gets the food from its mother.
Puberty The period of time (usually between the ages of nine and fifteen)
Reproduction When the sperm and the egg meet and are making a new person. It is how a person is produced, but it isn't intercourse exactly...
Scrotum The external pouch of skin in which the testes are located. It also keeps the testes at the correct temperature.
Semen The mixture of sperm cells and fluid.
Sperm The male sex cell.
Testes The gland in which sperm are stored and produced.
Urethra The tube that the urine and semen (and sperm).leave the body from.
Uterus The 'pear
Vagina Also called the birth canal, this muscular passageway leading to the outside of the body. The baby leaves the body during birth through this organ.
Zygote The fertilized egg.
