Weather Water Cycle

What are the 5 types of precipitation? rain, sleet, snow, hail, and freezing rain
The Water Cycle is what? endless
Precipitation occurs after what? Condensation, happens after clouds become heavy with water droplets
Condensation is what? Condensation is when water vapor condenses onto smoke and dust particles in the atmosphere and turns into water droplets and forms into clouds.
Evaporation is what? when the sun heats water on earth's surface and it turns into water vapor in the atmosphere
how does dew form? when water vapor condenses directly on a surface
how does frost form? when water vapor condenses directly on a surface and freezes.
What is transpiration? when plants allows water to leave them and it enters thew atmosphere as water vapor.
What is run-off? when precipitation falls to the ground and attempts to get back to sea level
What is ground water flow? when water seeps into the ground because the ground is porous and has space to hold the water
What is surface water flow? when water flows on top of the surface because the ground isn't porous enough and it rains to hard and fast
what are the steps in the water cycle? precipitation, run-off, evaporation, transpiration, condensation, precipitation.
