| What is a first quarter moon? | It is a moon that is illuminated on its right side and is 1/4th of the way through its orbit around the earth. |
| What is a last quarter moon? | It is a moon that is illiminated on the left side and is 3/4ths through its orbit around the earth. |
| What is a full moon? | It is a moon that totally illuminated, faces the sun, and is 1/2 of the way through its orbit around the earth. |

| What are seasons? | A season is a time of the year such as spring, summer, winter, and fall. |
