indications | neurogenic shock, spinal shock, cases of shock in which HR does not need to be increased, drug induced hypotension |

contraindications | acute MI, angina, cardiac arrhythmias, severe HTN, CAD, cardiomyopathy |
dosage | adult: 100-180 mcg/min. once BP stabilized, dose can be lowered to 40-60mcg/min peds:5-20mcg/kg followed by .1-.5mcg/kg/min |
